The brand’s origins trace back to our late grandmother, Purnam Chinnaswamy, who provided medical treatments to the people in our small village and nearby areas using her homemade remedies.

This tradition passed on to our late mother, Thamilarasi Pitchai who, as a mother of five daughters including myself, continued the practice of treating our family members with homemade medicines and beauty care products like bath powder, hair wash powder, face packs and hair oil etc.,. Inspired by her example, my sisters Malathy Pitchai and Hema Pitchai began crafting their own handmade bath soaps.

Impressed by the remarkable results we experienced when using these homemade soaps, I felt compelled to share their benefits with others. Thus, I embarked on the journey of creating our own do-it-yourself beauty products in our home kitchen, leading to the establishment of Purnas Naturals as a tribute to our grand mother.

To enhance the appeal of our brand, I opted to rebrand it as Cosmistry Naturals, blending the concepts of “cosmic” and “chemistry,” which symbolize the holistic and scientific approach we adopt in formulating our products.
